The Himalayan Region

The Himalayan Region is also known as the Mountain regions and its physiographic structure and climate in different from that of the others. The Himalayan Region extends in an east-west direction in the northern part of Nepal ranging from 4877 meters in its height. In this region, snowline lies at an average height of 5000 meters. It represents about 35 percent of the geographical structure and climate. Its climate in cold and dry. It receives snowfall time and again. Due to viewpoint of bio-diversity, various important vegetation and animals and birds are found in this region
