Because of the diversity in physiograhy and climate the Himalayan Region has become an area and habitat of various plants, agricultural crops, wildlife and other animals. Barley, uwa, bucketwheat, wheat and maize are produced here. Similarly, green vegetables, potato and radish are also grown. Rice is cultivated in some parts of the valleys. Somewhere, there are pine forests and grasslands. Rhododendron, pynes, Bushes and other trees are available here. Bushes are found above 400 metres. Similarly, snow panther, wild boar, black bear, danphe, munal and wild cock are available here. These are the inseparable components of the ecosystem in this region. The animals tolerating difficult situation of cold, less oxygen can live here. They can spend their lives with adaptation to the natural environment of this region. This is their physiological and inherited capacity.
